Hamid Majidimehr, head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization’s Quranic Affairs Center, said this has been done in a nationwide plan to assess the qualifications of judges of Quran contests.
He made the remarks in a gathering of the Quranic community of the northern province of Gilan, held in the provincial capital of Rasht on Friday.
The official said the plan is aimed at regulating judgments in Quran competitions.
He added that it would reduce to minimum objections to judgments in such Quranic events.
He said there have been other measures as well in order to standardize Quran competitions in the country.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Majidimher said the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization is at the service of the country’s Quranic community.
Iran’s national and international Quran contests are organized annually by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.
